Chanel S. Edwards is the Administrative Assistant of Liberal Arts’ Africana Research Center (ARC) working closely with the Center’s Director and the Willard Support Group to manage the overall day-to-day operations of the Center.
She holds a M.P.A. in Human Resources which she obtained from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2021. With over 15 years in administrative experience and an interest in art, web design, and writing, Chanel brings a unique and creative approach to the initiatives set forth by the ARC and works to provide a successful, joyous experience to all that is connected to the center.
Chanel serves as the primary administrative support; handling all key and facilities requests, managing assigned budgets, coordinating events and conferences held within ARC, handling faculty travel and Listserv advertisement.
